Join us as we celebrate the launch of the Chicas Verdes student-authored book a collection of stories, reflections, and experiences that explore how young people connect to nature, community, and themselves.
What to Expect:
Start your morning with a grounding sound bath and yoga session in the garden, followed by a student-led opening ceremony featuring reflections from our student authors.
Then, explore a series of interactive, student-led stations throughout the garden:
Learn to plant and take home a plant
Screen print your own tote bag
Face painting and rock painting
Friendship bracelet making
And more!
Guests are also invited to work in the garden alongside students, so come ready to get your hands in the soil. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, bring a hat, and a reusable water bottle (refill station available). We'll have some mats for the sound bath and yoga session - if you have one you can bring, please do so.
